Day 70 - 31st SHOOTING DAY: DRIVE BY SHOOTING IN SOUTHMOST

Imagine this: Carlos and his friends driving by Lopez Supermarket and shooting people in front of it. Sounds easy, but something like that is a real production challenge when the supermarket cannot be closed for the shooting. Since Constanze had to do something else, I had to manage the whole production process myself: Getting the extras together, warning the customers in the supermarket to not leave the place unless they wanna get shot, getting release forms from all the people who appear in the picture, coordinating the cars on the parking lot, so Carlos won’t crash, getting water for the extras and the film team,… At this point I really wanna point out that I am actually film director and NOT a set manager.

Something else: Thanks RJ, Robert and Lopez Supermarket for your help!
